Since 1990, MVCL has pursued a singular vision: to create jewelry of extraordinary quality — pieces that endure in both material and meaning.
Every stone is hand-selected by our gemmologists. Every setting is shaped with patient precision by artisans who have devoted their lives to this art. We do not chase trends; we refine a language of proportion, light, and restraint.
We often use platinum, colorless diamonds of exceptional clarity, and vivid reddish pink Burmese rubies of rare provenance. Platinum for its permanence and quiet brilliance; diamonds for their fire when cut and set with discipline; Burmese rubies for a warmth and saturation that cannot be imitated.

The founder
Madame Viraj
Madame Viraj founded MVCL. Thai–Chinese by heritage, she became one of the most recognised ruby and gemstone merchants in the world.
Renowned for supplying the rarest and most sought-after precious stones to private clients across Europe, China, and the far corners of the globe, she was a trusted source and a formidable negotiator — celebrated as much for her judgment as for her stones.
She has stepped back from day-to-day trade; the house is now carried forward by her children, with the same standards she set.
The atelier
Our work is conducted in a private atelier — a Thai–Chinese antique house restored as a jeweler's salon and showroom. Clients may view pieces by appointment and discuss bespoke commissions with the same care we bring to the bench.
